Embold HQ
This project swapped out groceries and shopping carts for desks, office chairs, and lots of daylight.
Where there once lived a popular supermarket chain lies an updated office space for Embold Credit Union's "Embold HQ" in Oak Grove, Oregon. Opened in 2022, Embold HQ is home to the company's behind-the-scenes specialists, support staff, and digital department. The full transformation features enough room for the entire team – but what's an efficient office space without more light?
Thanks to the general contractor, Triplett Wellman, Inc., and the architects at MDG Architecture | Interiors who made sure to include a highly insulated Kalwall Corporation translucent panel skylight above the entire commons, an ample amount of natural daylight pours into the adjacent office areas – fully diffused and glare-free light, perfect for collaborating, in-person or digitally, and walking throughout.
