Achieving LEED Gold Certification, Lovejoy Block One in Portland, Oregon, includes a 4-level parking garage that was transformed with high-performance Kalwall daylighting solutions. With a high strength-to-weight ratio, the structural integrity of Kalwall panels is unmatched, making it a strong and sustainable solution for this project. Framed with a black sheetmetal perimeter, Kalwall’s Ice Blue tinted standard and spandrel panels illuminate the garage with controlled glare-free daylight and, as night falls, Kalwall transforms the direct beams of auto headlamps traveling up the ramps into a soft glow on the elevation.
