Mountain View High School

This school's new look gives us a bolt of excitement.

Step into the halls of Mountain View High School in Vancouver, WA, and you'll find more than just a place of learning – you'll discover a testament to modern design and sustainability. Completed in 2022 by the talented teams at LSW Architects, PC and Skanska, this 275,000 square-foot masterpiece was reimagined with bold colors, sharp lines, and ample natural light, all aimed at creating an inspiring environment for the 'Thunder Family.'

Our dedicated design team knew Kalwall Corporation was the right answer to illuminate key areas of the building. With towering skylight monitors gracing the central commons and gymnasiums, diffused shadowless daylight fills these spaces for students, staff, and visitors. The gyms are also lit by sloped walls that bring in fully diffused early morning light and give a glowing welcome to the Thunder as they arrive for school.

We're honored to have contributed to this monumental project for the EVERGREEN SCHOOL DISTRICT (CLARK). The final build earned the Washington Sustainable Schools Protocol (WSSP) Sustainability Certification, marking a milestone in eco-friendly educational facilities.
